At SunPeak, our mission is to make solar accessible and seamless for businesses who want to generate their own power using renewable sources. We are focused on educating and delighting our customers and helping them realize decades of cost savings and sustainability benefits.
We do this by prioritizing quality in all we do: quality components, quality relationships, and employing the highest-quality people.
The SunPeak team is highly skilled and has installed over 450 MW of solar globally, including projects as distant as Germany, Japan and Canada. Our team of engineers, energy experts, electricians, project managers and construction professionals is ready to help your company achieve its energy goals.
Bill divides his time between the field and office, providing an essential communication link between project teams. Bill oversees the coordination of all aspects of construction project management from documentation, scheduling, and budgeting to inventorying materials, staffing the jobsite and coordinating final project commissioning. His ability to synchronize teams and schedules effectively enables SunPeak to hit project milestones on time and within budget while maintaining the highest levels of safety and workmanship. Bill also uses data gathered at each point in the construction timeline to analyze project efficiency and make key recommendations to improve SunPeak processes.
Bill has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and holds a certificate in Engineering for Energy Sustainability from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. While in school, Bill worked on an innovative project called the SpaceX Hyperloop Pod Competition, which challenged participants to broaden their understanding of human capability in the information and technology age of the 21st century. While designing complex mechanical systems for the competition, Bill decided he wanted to devote his technical talents to creating the greatest possible good for the environment. This led him to seek renewable energy as an educational and vocational path.
Bill has prior experience in construction management and previously worked for a utility-scale renewable energy contractor, where his time was focused primarily on wind construction. He finds commercial solar rewarding because it has such a significant impact; directly offsetting energy needs with application right at the load.
Bill has many creative talents including music, videography and art. He also enjoys traveling and exploring the great outdoors.
