Eli Kohl

Assistant Construction Manager

As Assistant Construction Manager, Eli supports SunPeak's overall construction and site preparedness processes, ensuring projects run smoothly and efficiently. In addition to preparing budgets and schedules, Eli coordinates material delivery, participates in crew onboarding, and collaborates with the team to ensure effective preconstruction planning, project documentation, and health and safety compliance. 

Eli has a background in the construction and electrical trades, and he continues to work toward completing his journeyman electrician license. He is excited to see the growth in solar and appreciates being able to apply his skills and abilities to the renewable energy industry.

Outside of work, Eli enjoys spending time outside, participating in waterfowl and deer hunting, and spending time with his family. 

Primary Responsibilities:

• Logistics management: Oversee delivery, and site organization of solar PV materials to ensure timely, efficient project execution.
• Labor management: Facilitate crew onboarding, documentation, and compliance with labor, apprenticeship, and equity standards.
• Equipment, tools, and fleet management
• Scheduling and progress tracking: Maintain documentation and manage field team RFIs to maintain alignment with project timelines.
• Budget management: Assist in tracking expenses and maintaining budget adherence.
• Safety: Enforce safety standards through inspections, hazard management, and regulatory compliance.
