Mike leads the project development team, a skilled group responsible for transitioning customer projects from the initial proposal phase to project execution. Mike oversees cost and schedule estimates and coordination with customer utilities. He also investigates interconnection matters, researches available grants and local financial incentives, and assists in coordinating site inspections. Mike’s exceptional attention to detail and his extensive range of knowledge provides tremendous value to internal teams and positions him often as a key customer contact for all aspects of a project from proposal acceptance through system commissioning.
Mike earned a BA in Interpersonal and Organizational Communication from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. He is a NABCEP certified PV Technical Sales Professional, and specializes in solar monitoring platforms, utility relations, and team development. To date, Mike has been directly involved with the development, execution, and commissioning of over sixty commercial and industrial photovoltaic (PV) projects. An avid traveler, Mike loves to share his passion for renewable energy and the natural world.
Beyond solar, Mike is a songwriter and has four albums to his credit. He is a certified Coastal Kayak Instructor, Wilderness First Responder, and owns a small armada of kayaks and canoes.
