SunPeak team members, local customers, and other special guests gathered on May 16, 2024 to celebrate SunPeak's 10-year anniversary milestone. Thanks to all who were able to join us!
The founding goal for SunPeak in 2014 was to bring quality systems, engineering efficiencies, and education to a fledgling Midwest commercial solar market so that businesses could confidently and affordably secure the cost and sustainability advantages of clean power. This year, as we celebrate ten years in business, we're grateful for the people and opportunities that have allowed us to deliver on these goals.
Time to Celebrate
On May 16, SunPeak hosted an open house celebration to commemorate our first decade. We used the event to recognize the customers who have trusted us to lead their solar projects and to celebrate the hard work of the many talented people we've brought into our fold along the way. It was a great evening that gave guests a chance to see our operations and equipment, and learn more about our projects.

Decade Highlights
Just a few highlights along our journey thus far:
- Industry and Community Recognition: SunPeak has been named a nationwide Top Commercial Solar Contractor for 7 years running by Solar Power World magazine. Locally, we've received multiple awards for our community and sustainability contributions.
- Project Impact: SunPeak has worked with hundreds of organizations to reduce their carbon footprint and lower their energy costs. We're proud of our customer partnerships and the ability to help others create a more sustainable future for generations to come.
- ISO 9001 Certification: In 2020, SunPeak achieved ISO 9001 certification. This rigorous certification and audit process underscores SunPeak's dedication to quality, superior customer experiences, and continuous improvement.
- Project Capabilities: SunPeak is a truly full-service EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) solar company. Our capable team has expertise in civil, electrical, and mechanical engineering as well as project financing, construction, commissioning, project management, and solar operations and maintenance. SunPeak has now completed projects for customers in a dozen states, including on both coasts.
Looking Ahead
Solar has grown to become the largest source of new power generation in the United States. Beyond its reliability and durability as a power source, federal tax credits and other available local grants and incentives have made solar an economical energy choice. We look forward to the continued growth of the industry and helping new and existing customers adopt and expand their solar projects in the next decade and beyond.
