Our team of engineers, energy experts, electricians, project managers and construction professionals is ready to help your company achieve its energy goals.
Hartman works directly with prospective customers throughout the project development process, answering questions related to project design and finance, performing site-specific energy analyses, and designing preliminary system layouts based on customer goals and site specifications.
Hartman earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he was also a five-year member of the UW Marching Band. He sought a career path where he could apply his technical skills to further the clean energy transition in the United States. Prior to joining SunPeak, he worked for an engineering consulting firm where he specialized in modifying and designing new transmission lines for power utilities to better connect solar and wind systems to the electrical grid. He is currently in the process of earning his Professional Engineering license and holds a PVA (Photovoltaic Associate) credential from the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners® (NABCEP).
Hartman grew up in nearby McFarland, Wisconsin and enjoys many active pursuits, including biking, hiking, and skiing. He also enjoys playing music and traveling with his girlfriend and dog.
