Tyson Foods, the largest producer of processed protein in the United States, hired SunPeak to build a ground-mounted solar PV system at its feed mill in Aurora, MO. The project was a key component of the company’s “30 by 30” initiative, an effort to reduce greenhouse gas emissions 30% by the year 2030.

American Family Insurance partnered with SunPeak to build the largest rooftop solar system in the state of Wisconsin at its national headquarters in Madison. The system supports the campus’ data center and generates more than 7% of the overall facility’s energy needs.

SunPeak was engaged to complete a substantial solar project to support the high electrical demands of Thelen’s aggregate mining facility. The project, which is one of the largest customer-sited, behind-the-meter installations in the Midwest, was constructed on green space created from mine reclamation. The system offsets more than 30% of the total operation’s power needs using renewable sources.

Central Storage & Warehouse (CSW), a large refrigerated warehouse company, partnered with SunPeak on three of its largest facilities. SunPeak helped CSW receive federal and state incentives, allowing the projects to be cash flow positive immediately. CSW has the most installed rooftop solar capacity of any private business in the state of Wisconsin.

Alliant Energy, a publicly-traded utility with power generation and distribution subsidiaries throughout Wisconsin and Iowa, partnered with SunPeak to establish its customer-hosted renewables portfolio in Sheboygan County, Wisconsin.

SunPeak worked closely with Alliant Energy and its customers Kohler Company and the City of Sheboygan, to develop and install ground-mounted solar PV systems for both customers. These systems support Alliant Energy's clean energy expansion plans and will help the utility reach its goal of NetZero greenhouse gas emissions by 2035. The projects also complement Kohler and City of Sheboygan's established environmental sustainability and community-building initiatives.

The solar project aligns with Medtronic’s corporate stewardship initiative to reduce the energy footprint of its products, and further supports cost savings within its operations.

DePauw University, a liberal arts college near Indianapolis, partnered with SunPeak to design and install a rooftop solar PV system for its indoor Tennis and Track Center. The project supported a campus-wide environmental stewardship initiative to both neutralize greenhouse gas emissions and provide educational opportunities for students and faculty around sustainability.

SunPeak helped Lakeland Union High School (LUHS) achieve its sustainability and renewable energy goals with a roof-mounted solar PV system that now offsets 20% of the school’s energy needs with renewable sources. The solar PV system serves as part of the school’s STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) curriculum and is the largest solar system on any Wisconsin school.

SunPeak helped LNS secure state and federal financial assistance for the system, which generates more than 100% of the operation’s energy needs.

Single Speed Brewing engaged SunPeak to help them achieve LEED-certification for a solar PV system on a historic building. SunPeak was able to work within the constraints of the City of Waterloo, Iowa’s historic preservation requirements so Single Speed could achieve all of its cost savings and sustainability goals. The system produces more than 20% of the brewery’s electricity needs.

Wall has been recognized as a leader in green development, recently receiving the Governor’s Award for Excellence in Energy Efficiency.

The Holiday Inn Express in Madison, Wisconsin is a mainstay for business and recreational travelers as it’s conveniently located near the convention center, downtown businesses and restaurants, the state capitol building, and the University of Wisconsin’s campus. 

The owners of the hotel partnered with SunPeak to add a rooftop solar system to the property. The system demonstrates the hotel's commitment to sustainability and reduces overall operating costs.
