In his role as Director of Project Development, Michael manages the project development team and advises on the discovery and conceptual engineering processes for customer projects. He works directly with customers, internal team leaders, and other project personnel to guide the development process, answer customer questions, and facilitate overall account management.
Michael earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering, and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University Wisconsin-Madison. He is a licensed Professional Engineer and also holds a PVA (Photovoltaic Associate) credential from the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners® (NABCEP). Before joining SunPeak, Michael gained experience in solar PV project feasibility, energy analysis and PV system design as an electrical engineering consultant working in project design for municipal and industrial facilities.
Michael was drawn to renewable energy for its positive impact on the threat of climate change and has a genuine interest in helping businesses reach their sustainability goals.
In his free time, Michael enjoys outdoor activities with his wife and two young daughters.
