Sam Kalscheur serves as SunPeak’s Field Operations Assistant, supporting the successful execution of commercial solar projects across the Midwest. In this role, Sam assists with coordinating materials and equipment deliveries, supporting preconstruction planning, tracking project progress, and helping ensure that SunPeak’s high standards for safety, quality, and efficiency are met both in the office and in the field.
Sam brings a strong work ethic and hands-on mindset to the field. His background in operations and project coordination has given him experience managing multiple moving pieces at once while maintaining clear communication with clients, crews, and colleagues. He thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys collaborating with others, and takes pride in helping projects move forward smoothly and efficiently. Sam earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire, where his interest in energy markets first sparked his curiosity about the renewable energy sector.
Originally from Waunakee, Wisconsin, Sam is proud to contribute to SunPeak’s continued growth. Outside of work, Sam enjoys sports, comedy shows, hiking, and spending time with family.

Coordinate the delivery of solar PV materials and equipment to job sites
Support field crew coordination and project documentation
Oversee equipment, fleet, and tool management to maintain safe and efficient operations
